Habitat: Monarchs with Milkweed and Echinachea

There was a season of life where everywhere I went, I was noticing butterflies happily resting on thier favorite plants. The idea was set in motion to create pieces as an extension of my vases, butterflies and moths living life in context. 
 
I decided with this large panel, to build a frame that suspended the piece so the curved edges will reflect even more light into the piece. Two of the Monarch's important sources throughout their life are Milkweed and Echinachea. This piece brought a lot of joy to design and create. Finished measurements in frame are 14"x 20 1/4".
