River's Edge Medallion

This piece was such a labor of love, reflecting on all of my time around so many bodies of water in my childhood. To this day, I still feel more at home near the water. In this piece, I combined many techniques I've accumulated over the years. River's Edge is a combination of cast glass, paté de verre, and kiln formed glass. 
 
Measuring 12" wide, and thickness (from the flower) is 1.5"
